Applications for Charitable Grants 2009
Tutara Kauika is pleased to announce its Charitable Grants Policy for 2009. The Trust currently has funds available for charitable purposes for the benefit of Tuhoe. Applications are invited from qualifying institutions or individuals whose purpose meets the criteria. Applications close on Friday 7 August 2009.
The Trustees are seeking applications for:

Charitable projects, which maintain, develop and disseminate Matauranga Tuhoe – Tuhoe knowledge, in terms of reo and tikanga, among Tuhoe people.

For projects, which provide support for the establishment of a Kaumatua Forum to gather and address issues of importance to Tuhoe kaumatua.

For projects, which provide support for the establishment of a Rangatahi Forum to gather and address issues of importance to Tuhoe rangatahi.

For projects, which support Tuhoe small business owners, with assistance for those who are first successful in being awarded funding under the Poutama Trust business grants scheme.

For research projects by Tuhoe people, which relate to and support Tuhoe development as an iwi.
